The whole Snyder family was a great help to me and my son, Bruce Emrick, when he was small. They looked after him just as if he were another family member. Matt probably had a great influence on him as they liked motorcycles and hunting with dogs. He will be missed

Matt & I shared many good times as youngsters growing up in Clarksburg. We attended St Mary's Grade School & Notre Dame High School together We served as School Boy Patrol and Altar Boys together. We hiked and camped together as members of BSA Troop 14. Those were good times. RIP Matt.

Matt, you were more than Brother in law. We had so many memories especially cutting your hair like Claribell the Cliown and going to the hospital to see Francine when Matthew was born. The hospital wasn't going to let us in. Then later we drank like Southerns downing Rebel Yell. I felt it the next day. He didn't even get upset when I blew his car up while going to Cheat Lake. I lost a brother, friend, and darn good drinking buddy. RiP Mountain Man.
