Obituary for William Goff Daff
William Goff Landis Daff, 78, of Weston went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at his home following an extended illness. He was born in Upshur County on July 13, 1941: son of the late Ellis R. Daff and Coresia V. (Smith) Daff. William was raised by Delbert and Julia Landis. On May 8, 1993, he married Barbara (Ervin) Daff, who survives.
Mr. Daff is also survived by three daughters: Tamela Williams of Weston, Nichole Kyler of Woodhull, NY and Jennifer Austin of Addison, NY, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by one brother: Stephen Daff and two sisters: Virginia and Reva Louise Daff.
Mr. Daff was retired from the maintenance department of Weston State Hospital.
At Mr. Daff’s request, he was cremated with no visitation or services and wishes to be remember by family and friends as he was before Parkinson’s invaded his body.
