Obituary for Wilbert Ralph Webb
Wilbert Ralph Webb, 68, of Roanoke, WV, passed away on Thursday, August, 27th, 2020 in Genesis Healthcare-Salem following an extended illness. He was born in Lewis County on July 10th, 1952 son of the late: Robert Ralph Webb and Ida Mae (Claypoole) Webb.
Mr. Webb is survived by one sister: Laura Wimer of Mt. Clare and one brother: Michael Webb of Clarksburg. Wilbert is also survived by two nieces: Ella Heffner and Terri Bubnar and five nephews: David Webb, John, Samuel and Robert Wimer, and Jason Yeager (deceased), 10 great-nieces: Megan, Isabella, Julie, Devieanna, Tyanna, Morgan, Kristen, Alice, Ellie and Trinity and 15 great-nephews: Mathew, Rhett, Bailey, August, David, Johnny, Dillan, Robert, Tyler, Logan, Charles, Nathaniel, Bentley, Tyler and Jayden. In addition to his parents Wilbert was preceded in death by one sister: Mary Watson.
In his youth, Wilbert liked to help his neighbors in the garden, sleigh riding and spending time with his friends. He also liked riding bicycles, working on watches, playing banjo and guitar, hunting and fishing. He was liked by all and considered a good friend. He will be missed.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 31st, 2020 at 1:00pm from the Broad Run Cemetery of Jane Lew, WV with Reverend Russell Furr officiating.
