Obituary for Timothy James Pertz
Timothy James Pertz,. 61, of Jane Lew WV passed away at his residence on August 23, 2020 following an extended illness. He was born in Weston, WV on February 13, 1959: son of the late Edwin John Pertz, Sr. and Georgia Ellen (Riffle) Pertz.
He is survived by 2 brothers: Michael Pertz and wife Brenda of Amherst, OH, and Edwin Pertz, Jr. and wife Patty of Walkersville, WV, and a three sister: Susan Heath and husband Kenny of Walkersville, WV, Mary Ann Yeager and husband Lane of Jane Lew, WV, and Ellen Boggs of Weston, WV, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews

Tim was a true family man although he never married himself, his life revolved around his family that he loved dearly. He often would call to check on the little ones just to tell them “Good Night.” In his younger days he loved fishing, hunting, and going for drives in the country. As he got older his days were spent watching television and he rarely missed Swap Shop on the radio. His smile endeared him to those he met and he was a friend to many. He will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.
At Timothy’s request, his wishes for cremation will be honored, his ashes will be scattered at the convenience of the family and Fellowship time will be held at Hardman Family Funeral Home, 730 North Main Avenue Weston, WV, on August 29th, 2020 from 12:00pm-1:00pm with a memorial service at 1:00pm from the Hardman Family Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating.
