Obituary for Leonard Ross Boilon

Leonard Ross Boilon, 94, of Weston passed away on Wednesday June 3rd, 2020 in Bridgeport Healthcare Center following an extended illness. He was born on Cove Lick in Lewis County on August 20th, 1925: son of the late Thurmon Boilon and Flora Moneypenny Boilon.

Mr. Boilon is survived by one sister: Mary Lou Morris of Shinnston, three nieces: Shirley Harbert (Gary) of Lumberport, Robin Huff of Shinnston, and Luanna King of Weston and two nephews: Larry Huff (Karen) of Quiet Dell and Steve Huff (Cheryl) of Fairmont and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ross was preceded in death by two brothers: Leo Boilon and Thurman Boilon, Jr.

Mr. Boilon retired from Danser’s Hardware and Supply of Weston as a salesman. He was a graduate of Weston High School. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at Burton’s Station in Weston. He loved watching Lewis County sports teams and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Family and friends will be received at the Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Ave. Weston on Friday June 5th, 2020 from 11AM-1PM. Private family services will be held on Friday at 1PM from the Hardman Family Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Bob King officiating.
