Obituary for Helen Toddy Butcher (Bosley)

Helen Toddy Butcher, 75, of Weston passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 in United Hospital Center of Bridgeport following an extended illness. She was born in Akron, OH on December 18, 1944: daughter of the late Frank Bosley and Toddy (West) Bosley. In October of 1995, she married Delmer Butcher, who survives.

Helen is also survived by one daughter: Geovaunya “GiGi” Richards and husband Roger of Jane Lew, one son: James Taylor of Weston, five grandchildren: Rebecca and David Allen, Rachel Walton, Julie Johnson and Skylar Taylor and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by two brothers: James Ash and Frank Bosley.

Mrs. Butcher was a retired psychiatric aide with Weston State Hospital of Weston. She was a graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School in Clarksburg, WV. She was a member of the Geelick United Methodist Church. Helen was a member of the US Army Reserves. Her hobbies included watching TV and working on Latch Hook rugs.

Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 12-2 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating.
