Obituary for Guillerma Macanip Pascasio (Pedrosa)

Guillerma Macanip Pedrosa Pascasio, 84, of Weston passed away on Saturday, July 11th, 2020 at her home following a brief illness. She was born on February 10th, 1936 in Leyte, Phillipines. She was the daughter of Emeterio Pedrosa and Ceferina Macanip Pedrosa. On October 30th, 1962 she married Porfirio Pascasio, MD., who survives.

She is also survived by two daughters: Mary Jane Parker of Weston, WV, Dina Grace Kelly of Point Pleasant, NJ and three sons: Perry Anthony Pascasio and wife Katherine of Kendall Park, NJ, Rudolph Pedrosa Pascasio and wife Karen of Weston, WV, and Max Erich Pascasio of Weston, WV, 11 grandchildren: Joel R. Parker, Jordan G. Parker, Jaime N. Parker, David M. Pascasio, Daniel M. Pascasio, Deanna M. Pascasio, Sydney Holland, Grant T. Kelly, Olivia R. Kelly, Caroline Pascasio and Allison Pascasio, and 4 great-grandchildren: Marin Parker, Laila Parker, Kaleb Pascasio and Jordan Harter. She was blessed with ten brothers and sisters: Solidad, Jovita, Marcial, Pedro, Victoriano, Mauricio, Lourdes, Librada, Kitty, and Emiliana.

Mrs. Pascasio was a college graduate of Phillipines Women’s University where she received her Registered Nursing Degree. She was a faithful member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Weston, WV, a member of the choir, Catholic Daughters of the America’s Court Victory 379, a Rosary Leader, taught the CCD, and helped with the Rite of Christian Innitiation of Adults. She was a member of the Lewis County Senior Center. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, gardening, and making memories with her family.

Family and friends will be received at the Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 North Main Avenue of Weston, WV on Wednesday, July 15th, 2020 from 4 to 7pm with Rosary being recited at 7pm from the funeral home chapel. A Mass will be held at the St. Patrick Catholic Church of Weston, WV on Thursday, July 16th, 2020 at 11AM with Father James R. DeViese, Jr. as celebrant, Interment will follow at Peterson Cemetery of Weston, WV. Online condolences and life stories in memory of Emma may be expressed at hardmanfamilyfuneralhome.com.
