Donnie Earl Garrett, 77, of Weston passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 in St. Joseph’s Hospital of Buckhannon following an extended illness. He was born in Weston on September 13, 1942: son of the late Jack W. Garrett and Lucille Irene (Harris) Garrett.

Mr. Garrett is survived by two brothers: twin brother: Jackie David Garrett of Buckhannon and Randy Paul Harris of Amarillo, Texas, one sister: Sharon L. Powell of Buckhannon and several nieces and one nephew. In addition to his parents: Donnie was preceded in death by one brother: Michael Steven Garrett and one sister: Frances Saunders.

Mr. Garrett retired from the Street Department of the City of Weston. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and golf. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Per Donnie’s wishes, a Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from Lewis County Memorial Gardens of Weston with Reverend John Burns officiating.
