Charles Ross Riffle, 82, of 612 W 2nd Street Weston passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020 at his home following a fall. He was born in Lewis County on August 4, 1937: son of the late Everett Riffle and Jewel (Bleigh) Riffle. In 1965, Charles was married to Sarah L. (Stalnaker) Riffle, who survives.

Mr. Riffle is survived by one sister: Doris White of Glenville and one nephew and one niece.

Mr. Riffle was a retired employee of the West Virginia Department of Highways with over 25 years of service. He was a graduate of Weston High School. Charlie was a car enthusiast and tinkered and collected cars. He enjoyed visiting all his friends at Bob’ Golden’s Auto of Weston. Mr. Riffle was a veteran of the United States Army.

Family and friends will be received at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. main Avenue Weston on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. from the Hardman Family Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating.
