Bettie Jo Duncan, 95, of Weston passed away on Monday, July 13th, 2020 following a brief illness at her residence. She was born July 9th, 1925 in Weston, WV. She was the daughter of the late Wayne Morrison and Georgia Life Morrison. On June 5th, 1946 she married Russell B. Duncan in Brunswick, MD who preceded her in death.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Anna Faye Eyth and husband George of Stuart, FL, Linda Sue McClung and husband Edward of Weston, WV, and Mary Ellen Edison and husband Dave of Stuart, FL, and 1 son: James Russell Duncan of Weston, WV, 16 grandchildren: Josh Duncan, B.J. Lowther, Jeremy Duncan, Teresa Lowther, Michelle and Danny Bush, Nicole Edison, Jason Bantum, Rusty and Beth Allman, Mick and Jennifer Paugh, Brian and Jason McClung, Jessie Paugh, and Jamie McCullough. She is also survived by one step-grandchild, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 2 brothers: Burl and Blair Morrison and one daughter-in-law: Barbara Duncan.

Bettie was a faithful member of the Berlin United Methodist Church. She was active with several church groups and civic organization including the WSCS-Woman Christian group, the Berlin Education Outreach, Rebekah’s of Berlin, and the Berlin CEO’s. She loved spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends will be received at the Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 North Main Avenue of Weston, WV on Friday July 17th, 2020 from 11-1PM with a private family funeral service at 1PM from the Hardman Family Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Rod Heckert officiating.
