Annabelle W. “Ann” Clark, 97, of Midlothian, VA passed away on December 19, 2019 at her home. She was born in Weston on November 22, 1922: daughter of the late James Goff White and Mabel Freda (Woofter) White. Mrs. Clark married John Clark.
Mrs. Clark was blessed with two children: Karen Ann Kern of Midlothian, VA and John Timothy “Tim” Clark of Vienna, VA, five grandchildren: Sara Mae Barton and John Davis Clark both of Washington, DC, Samantha Kern of Norfolk, VA, Brian Kern of Miami, FL and Benjamin Kern of Richmond, VA and two great-grandchildren: Annabelle Kern and Franklin Kern. She is also survived by one brother: John White of Newcastle, WA, Jean Stalnaker of Clarksburg, WV and several nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Mrs. Clark was a retired school administrator. She was born into a farming family with 8 siblings. She was a member of the Sun City Center United Methodist Church in Sun City Center, FL and later attended the Brandermill Church in Midlothian, VA. Ann was a jigsaw enthusiast and an iconic golfer into her 90’s. She was a steady friend to many. Mrs. Clark was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
At her family’s request, Mrs. Clark will receive a graveside service in Lewis County Memorial Gardens of Weston, WV on Friday, January 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.with Reverend Brian Plum officiating.
